Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 25, 2026 | Version 1.2
Our Commitment
This Privacy Policy explains how Broilr ("Broilr", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Broilr application and website (the "Service"), a poultry farm management and ERP platform. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account & Identity
Your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), display name, farm designation, and farm location. Used for authentication and to operate your account.
Farm & Production Records
Flock metrics, feed consumption, mortality and health logs, inventory, and financial records (ledger entries, transactions) that you enter to use the Service's analytics and reporting.
Device & Usage Data
We and our analytics providers may automatically collect app interactions, approximate diagnostics, crash data, device type, and identifiers to maintain reliability, security, and to improve the Service. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, operate, and secure the Service; authenticate your account; generate analytics, benchmarks, and P&L reporting; process subscription payments; provide customer support; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your farm or financial data for advertising.
3. How We Share Information
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database hosting, and analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never store full card numbers on our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
4. Data Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers, and each account's data is logically isolated. Passwords are never stored in plain text. While no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, we apply industry-standard safeguards to protect your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account or specific records, the associated data is permanently removed from our active systems. We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or accounting compliance for the statutory period.
6. Account & Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. Within the app you can use Settings → Data → Delete My Account to permanently delete your account and all associated data (login, profile, subscription, flocks, logs, inventory, and financial records). A separate "Data Wipe" option lets you erase your farm records while keeping your account.
You can also review the full process or request deletion if you cannot access the app here:
Account Deletion Page7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app, or by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
Broilr is a professional business tool intended for users aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers operated by our providers (Google Firebase, Stripe) in countries other than your own. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
